Lagniappe Trio returns to the stage for its FIRST live concert tour since the pandemic began, performing a program of FIRSTS.  Audiences will have the opportunity to experience their world premiere tour of two works, including one by their very own members, Christopher Lowry.  They will also perform the FIRST work ever written for the flute, viola, and harp ensemble.

The Lagniappe Trio has been performing together professionally since 2017, offering expansive, creative, and unique programming for audiences of all ages. Lagniappe Trio is comprised of Flutist, Rachel Ciraldo, Violist and Composer, Christopher Lowry, and Harpist, Stephanie Gustafson Amfahr, all members of the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra and professional chamber musicians. Their versatility has contributed to vast creative offerings, from educational performances for youth, virtual world premieres and performances, to interdisciplinary projects and newly commissioned works by their very own, Christopher Lowry. They have received grant support from the Mississippi Arts Commission for their projects and have received repeat engagements at the Natchez Music Festival, FestivalSouth, and the Lamar Chamber Series of the the Baton Rouge Symphony. Reaching high levels of acclaim as individual artists and as an ensemble, they are emerging as one of the leading trios in the country.
